This afternoon, Ardon Jashari has not travelled with his Club Brugge teammates to England, whilst he waits to move to AC Milan.
It seems like things are heading in one direction now for Jashari and Milan, as the midfielder has agreed with Club Brugge that he will not travel to Glasgow or London with the rest of the squad today, per reports from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Furthermore, he will train individually whilst he waits for his move to the Rossoneri to be completed after their ‘final bid’ was submitted last night.
This has also been confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, who states that the midfielder is not part of the squad travelling to the UK, as he only wants the move to Milano. In a few days, the club will be told the verdict after their latest bid.
For what it is worth, it is normally only in the final stages where a player will not be part of squad-wise plans. So, it bodes well for the Diavolo, indeed.
Final bid
With Club Brugge seeking a figure near €40 million, the latest bid from Milan should be close enough to seal a deal, with Igli Tare working tirelessly to secure his second signing of the summer so far. The club have offered a package just shy of the asking price.
Nevertheless, with this latest news, it could be enough to see things through.
