AC Milan have suffered with injuries during the international break, but they are not the only ones to be struggling.
The list of issues in the Milan squad is rather large for an international break. It is rather frustrating, and the Rossoneri will hope for good news when these players return to Milanello, which they are scheduled to do as a group on Thursday.
However, Fiorentina, their opponents this weekend, are also left a little bruised after the international period.
Kean misses Milan?
As the FIGC announced, via MilanNews, Moise Kean has been withdrawn from the national team squad.
“The instrumental tests carried out have in fact confirmed that the Fiorentina striker has not fully recovered from the injury to his right ankle that occurred during Saturday’s match against Estonia and is therefore not available for the match against Israel.”
Whilst it is not a serious injury, there will be doubts about his participation in the game against the Rossoneri this weekend.

Corriere dello Sport, via the same report, states that Stefano Pioli does not want to take any risks, and this view is shared by La Viola’s medical staff. So, it seems that one Edin Dzeko or Roberto Piccoli will be given a chance to start.
Neither have scored for their new club yet, but the former has a strong record against the Diavolo, scoring eight times in 20 games. Whilst it is only a slightly better record than Kean’s, it would be typical for him to open his account for the season at San Siro.
