Marco Palestra’s growth has not gone unnoticed in Serie A, and AC Milan are among the teams interested in signing him.
The Cagliari full-back is continuing to deliver strong performances and show evident quality, and given that he is just 20 years of age, there is a lot of potential there too. As reported by Corriere della Sera (via Tribuna), all the big Italian clubs are ready to battle for the Italian.
Palestra in demand
Inter are evaluating the possibility of getting ahead of everyone and closing the deal as early as January, even if the negotiation will be anything but easy. Palestra is owned by Atalanta, and relations between the two clubs are certainly not idyllic after the ‘Lookman saga’ over the summer.
Should the season ultimately come to an end and he hasn’t moved yet, Juventus and Milan are also ready to make a move for Palestra, who has so far made 12 appearances (with three assists) in just under 1000 minutes played.

The Italy U21 international has played mostly as a right-back/right wing-back this summer. TuttoMercatoWeb (via MilanXtra) also confirm interest from the Rossoneri – after Goal did a few weeks ago – but they add that a price of €35-40m has already been set.
Given that Milan have Alexis Saelemaekers as an established starter on the right side in the 3-5-2 system, it remains to be seen if such an investment would be sanctioned in a position that perhaps isn’t an urgent need.
