It looks as if Cremonese are about to complete a double raid on AC Milan, with Warren Bondo and Filippo Terracciano heading there.
According to Nicolo Schira, Bondo to Cremonese is now a done deal. The midfielder is expected to arrive in the city on Tuesday for his medical ahead of signing on what will be a one-year loan deal, with no mention of any option or obligation to make it permanent.
Meanwhile, Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com is reporting that Cremonese are waiting for the arrival of Terracciano this week too. The Milan full-back has agreed to the move, and it will be a loan deal with and option to buy.
On the fringes
It is a move that is probably in the best interests of both players given their roles within the squad and the chances of their limits being very limited under Massimiliano Allegri.
Bondo for example would perhaps be the sixth-choice central midfielder given the arrivals of Samuele Ricci, Luka Modric and Ardon Jashari, in addition to Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Youssouf Fofana being present, and with Yunus Musah’s future to be evaluated.
Terracciano meanwhile does not seem to be a contender for either full-back position nor is he a natural wing-back, thus a move to somewhere he would get more game time is a smart one.
