This evening, AC Milan have made their first bid to Sporting Lisbon for their striker Conrad Harder, according to a report.

The past week has shown how mad the mercato can be. From Dusan Vlahovic and Rasmus Hojlund to Victor Boniface, it seemed like Milan could be done in the mercato by Monday. However, a failed medical later, and the cogs are back turning.

Now, there are several names back in the mix, and there needs to be action with time running out, and it seems there has been a move made for the ‘Plan A’.

Harder bid

Earlier today, Igli Tare and Massimiliano Allegri met at Casa Milan to discuss the mercato, and the agent of Harder was reportedly present. Now, Daniele Longo reports for Calciomercato.com that an initial bid has been made.

According to the journalist, the offer stands at €20 million plus bonuses, which could be a little short of Sporting’s demands. Instead, it is believed that they want a €28m package, broken down into €23m and €5m worth of bonuses.

With that said, the parties are ‘moving forward’ to reach a final agreement, so it seems that they do not want to delay anything. Instead, wanting to conclude things as soon as possible.

Matteo Moretto adds to this, reporting that the ‘track’ is expected on Tuesday afternoon, so it could be a quick one to end, indeed.
