Reports: Milan propose new payment structure to try get Jashari green light – the details

AC Milan might actually alter their bid for Ardon Jashari after all, as per a report, but the amount would not be raised.

Sources in Belgium continue to state that €40m is the asking price for the 22-year-old, with that amount having been put forward by other clubs. The directors have no intention of participating in a bidding war and has therefore given the Belgians an ultimatum.

Milan to alter bid structure?

As journalist Luca Cohen reports, Milan are trying to propose to Brugge to pay for Jashari over fewer years of instalments (it would be four instead of five). Discussions are ongoing regarding the formula, with feedback awaited.

According to MilanNews, there were more contacts between the clubs today to seek a solution for Jashari. Various options are being considered, and they confirm that the idea of shorter payment terms is one idea.

Another new bid cannot be totally ruled out, but either way there’s a strong feeling that these are crucial hours to bring the soap opera – one that has now been going on for two months – to a close at last.

If an agreement cannot be reached and the deal falls through, Milan are ready to turn straight to Javi Guerra of Valencia. This is despite the talk that he is close to a renewal.
