AC Milan are closing in on making yet another sale, with Yacine Adli one step away from departing for Saudi Arabia.

Milan are nearing the completion of yet another sale in a busy summer transfer window. Adli was sent to Milan Futuro because he didn’t fit into the plans, and he will soon become a new signing for Saudi Pro League club Al Shabab.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan and Al Shabab have reached an agreement over a permanent transfer worth approximately €8m. Yesterday, Adli reached a preliminary agreement with his new side over a three-year contract worth €6m net per season, and he will be the 22nd sale.

The former Fiorentina player couldn’t refuse this offer, considering it’s three times higher than his current salary. During the negotiations, issues arose regarding the commissions the Arab club must pay to the player’s agents, but these have now been resolved following this morning’s discussions.

La Gazzetta dello Sport also confirm that the finish line is now within reach. Only a medical remains for Adli, who will depart Milan after having played 39 games and scored one goal. Given he cost €10m four years ago, so his residual value is €2m, it will be a €6m capital gain for the Diavolo.
