While a huge game against Roma awaits on Sunday night, AC Milan’s injury crisis has the management thinking about January signings.
Returning to the Champions League next season is the club’s primary goal, even though Milan fans dream of winning the Scudetto. To achieve this, the club could consider bringing in a few new signings in the winter window to fill some of the gaps that have been exposed.
Scouting mission
According to what is being reported by Alessandro Jacobone, Milan scouts were present to watch Udinese’s most recent home game against Lecce. He even names the players they were there to see: Oumar Solet and Alessandro Zanoli, who play centre-back and right-back respectively.
The match in question ended 3-2 to the home team, and it is not the first time that Solet has been linked, given that he was mentioned as a target in the summer. Zanoli – on loan at Udinese from Napoli – could provide a more experienced deputy to Alexis Saelemaekers.

Meanwhile, Pietro Balzano Prota of MilanVibes revealed that Geoffrey Moncada went on a midweek scouting mission. It wasn’t a big trip: the Milan sporting director went up the road to the Stadio Senigallia, where he watched Como beat Verona.
Prota does not mention any specific names regarding who Milan were scouting, but he did see the Lariani move two points behind the Rossoneri.
