AC Milan have made their first offer for Pervis Estupinan, but it is not be enough for Brighton to give the green light.
It was first reported earlier in the week by Ben Jacobs that Estupinan is the new name in Milan’s pursuit of a left-back. Since that initial link, things have progress to the point of a first offer being made.
First bid not enough
According to the latest from Matteo Moretto, Milan have offered €12-13m as a fixed base for Estupiñán. Brighton are asking for more, but Milan hope to reach an agreement in the coming days.
The request is not around €30m as has been quoted in some places. The actual asking price is ‘much lower’ than that.

Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) reported on Sky that Milan are serious about Estupinan. He’s the new name to replace Theo, and the player is apparently completely open to joining the Rossoneri.
Milan have already sent an initial official offer to Brighton of around €12m, but the English club want more. Agent Jorge Mendes is working to try to smooth out Brighton’s demands and ensure the deal is a success.
It won’t be a simple operation, but Estupiñán’s desire to move to Serie A could prove decisive in the coming weeks, with developments expected.
