Inter could actually give their rivals AC Milan a helping hand by pushing Ardon Jashari towards the exit door, reports claim.

Milan have been working for weeks to sign Jashari now and they are believed to be awaiting a response from Club Brugge on their latest offer. The Swiss midfielder did not travel for a friendly against Rangers over the weekend, fuelling the idea that a departure is imminent.

Stankovic in = Jashari out?

Both Corriere della Sera and Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) have reported that Inter could unlock the Jashari situation because the could provide the Belgian club with the heir in the midfield department.

To be more specific, Aleksandar Stankovic is apparently on the verge of joining Brugge and he would be seen as the natural replacement for the former Luzern man. Once that deal has gone through, there could quickly be movement on the Jashari front.

Milan are expecting a response to their latest offer (worth €35m in total) by no later than the end of Tuesday. The plan was for Club Brugge to hold onto him for the Champions League qualifying rounds, but the player’s strong desire to complete a move to San Siro seems to have sparked a domino effect.
