1 week ago 10

This season, AC Milan are not directly aiming for the Scudetto. However, it is a very real possibility at the moment.

Fans are normally at one end of the spectrum, either extremely optimistic or very pessimistic. Of course, there is also a middle ground, which some manage on. However, with the attachment, it is sometimes difficult to stay level-headed.

Unavoidable discussion

With this season, Milan fans are already considering the possibility of a Scudetto fight, even if no one inside the club is saying it explicitly. Of course, there has been mention of competing for titles. But, no one has outwardly said, ‘This year we want to win the Scudetto’.

Perhaps, internally, it may have been mentioned. However, the focus remains on the Champions League from the outside. It is a change from last season, where lofty ambitions were set but never reached, unfortunately.

A united Milan can be seen on the pitch, and there is a slight ‘what if’ feeling emerging. It is early, yes. However, the conversation is quicking involving the Diavolo. It is unavoidable at this point.
