Even though the window has just closed, speculation regarding AC Milan and the striker position never seems to stop.
Dusan Vlahovic is one of the top players who will depart his club on a free transfer this summer and Milan have been extensively linked with a swoop over the past few months, even dating back to the summer mercato.
The big coup?
According to La Repubblica, Vlahovic ‘could be the big signing of the summer’ for Milan. Despite the fact he will move on a free, it will not be easy to complete the coup at all given that competition is fierce and the costs will be very high, due to salary and commission demands.
In the past few months, the Rossoneri have already had several contacts with Vlahovic’s agent Darko Ristic to understand the situation. They learned that the ex-Fiorentina star has decided not to renew his contract with Juve, which is the first door to open.

To even think about landing the 20-year-old, the Rossoneri must achieve the seasonal objective that Massimiliano Allegri and the management have repeatedly reiterated: to finish in the top 4 and therefore qualify for next season’s Champions League.
One factor that could help a lot in the negotiation is the player’s relationship with Allegri. The two worked together at Juventus and spoke last summer, so we’ll see if the Tuscan coach will be able to convince the striker.
