Christopher Nkunku reportedly did not want to take a step backwards by leaving AC Milan this month. However, it seems his head may be turned.
The past few weeks have been rather up and down where Nkunku has been concerned. He has been on the list of players to go, and then he scored a brace against Hellas Verona. Despite that, though, it appeared he was still available.
In recent days, things have been heading more towards him staying at Milan, powered by a feeling of ‘revenge’, hoping to prove that he was worth the fee which was paid for him in the summer.

Now, things may not be so clear. As La Repubblica, via MilanNews, reports, the Frenchman may actually consider leaving, with Fenerbahce still insisting on a move for him this month, and salary figures have been revealed.
It appears that the Turkish club could offer him €7 million per season, which is €2m more than what he earns in Milano. Right now, he is only tempted by the salary, it seems.
For the Rossoneri, he will not be allowed to leave, unless they get the €38m, which they paid in the summer, back for his departure.
