Repubblica: Vlahovic’s potential free transfer to Milan tainted by €18m commission

Dusan Vlahovic could terminate his contract with Juventus this summer, and while this might sound good for a potential buyer, his entourage is ready to ask for a huge commission.

The Vlahovic saga has certainly been interesting to follow this summer. An exit from Juventus appears nailed on, but how that will materialise is a different question, with the Bianconeri keen on collecting around €20m from his sale. As per various reports, Milan are monitoring the situation.

Given the high salary requests of Vlahovic, no clubs have moved decisively for the Serbian yet as a €25m transfer fee and a €10m+ salary is quite the commitment. The solution, as such, could be for the striker to terminate his contract with Juventus.

Hefty commission revealed

According to La Repubblica this morning (via MilanEye), Vlahovic would like to terminate the contract with Juventus and leave on a free transfer. His remaining value on the books is around €20m, which would be the capital loss for the Bianconeri, but he also has a gross salary of €22m per year.

Still, it would probably be a tough pill to swallow for the Turin side to accept that solution. Furthermore, as the report continues, Vlahovic’s entourage is ready to ask for a whopping commission of €15-18m (!) from whichever club wants to sign the striker on a ‘free’ transfer.

In short, the entourage of Vlahovic seems to be causing a lot of problems, both for Juventus and the teams interested (including Milan).
