Ismael Bennacer is very intrigued about the idea of playing in Saudi Arabia from next season, according to a report, but no offer has been put on the table by Al-Ittihad.
In the last week or so, it has been reported by Italian media that Al-Ittihad are keen on securing Bennacer’s services this summer, offering €10m to Milan. Furthermore, it has been said that the player isn’t fully convinced by a move to Saudi Arabia.
Considering his costs on the accounts, and the fact that he isn’t part of Max Allegri’s plans, Milan are obviously keen on parting ways with him this summer. Whether a solution can actually be found in the end, however, is a different question.
Bennacer is open to Saudi move
Contrary to the Italian reports, RMC Sport’s Santi Aouna is now claiming that Al-Ittihad haven’t made an official offer for Bennacer yet. They are waiting until their new president has been elected before making any decisions on their targets.
As if that wasn’t enough, Aouna is saying that Bennacer is ‘very interested’ in the idea of playing in Saudi Arabia next season. In other words, a complete 180-degree turn compared to the Italian reports and only time will tell what is actually the truth.
