Fabio Silva is experiencing some difficulties at Borussia Dortmund, and Fabrizio Romano has suggested that AC Milan could pounce.
Milan’s issues in the striker position have been spoken about a lot in recent weeks, with only Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic contributing to goals regularly while Santiago Gimenez and Christopher Nkunku remain dry in the league.
This has led to links with a number of different centre-forwards in view of January, such as Niclas Fullkrug and most recently Franculino. However, another name has now been put forward by Fabrizio Romano: Fabio Silva.
So far this season, the forward has played just 128 minutes across all competitions. He has one assist in five Bundesliga appearances (but only 30 minutes clocked) and his goal came in 62 minutes of Champions League action.

‘Keep an eye on’
Speaking in a video published on his Italian YouTube channel alongside Matteo Moretto, the journalist hinted that Fabio Silva is someone to keep an eye on if Milan choose to try and seize a possible ‘opportunity’.
“He went to Dortmund in the summer, despite the summer courtship, but he’s not playing, he’s struggling a lot, and he’s considering leaving in January. It’s a real possibility,” he began.
“So keep an eye on Fabio Silva, because among the various teams interested in attacking players, there are several, perhaps Juventus; in terms of attack, Roma certainly; and we’ll see what happens with Milan with Gimenez.
“There are a number of positions that could be filled, and Fabio Silva is one to keep an eye on, because I’m told the player is seriously considering a January departure.
“Roma had given it more than a passing thought, too. When his name leaked out, especially in the press, the player wasn’t indifferent to this type of desire.”
