Romano: Ajax ‘have asked’ Milan about loaning Maximilian Ibrahimovic – the latest

Ajax have initiated contacts with AC Milan over a potential loan for Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s oldest son, Maximilian Ibrahimovic, and evaluations are now underway.

After playing with the Primavera last season, bagging seven goals, Maximilian Ibrahimovic was promoted to the Futuro side ahead of the current campaign. The winger has made 17 appearances so far and is already close to matching the previous tally, with five goals scored.

In addition to the goals, he has also had quite a few assists, proving that he has more to his game than just finding the back of the net. In any case, this success hasn’t gone unnoticed, with his dad’s former club Ajax knocking on the door.

Official loan request made

As stated by Fabrizio Romano in his latest video, Ajax ‘have asked’ Milan about loaning Maximilian Ibrahimovic. The Rossoneri will now have to make a decision in order for the Dutch side to proceed, while the player will also have his say.

The interest, as Romano says, is very concrete and it would be a rather romantic move as Ibrahimovic Sr had his big breakthrough with the club. It should be noted that De Telegraaf have also reported on the interest (via Il Garante), stating that the formula could be a loan with an option to buy.
