This evening, AC Milan could have a deal done for Alex Jimenez’s departure, according to a recent report.
There have been several clubs interested in Jimenez, but the big stumbling block was that Milan did not want to accept a move with a permanent clause, like Napoli had tried earlier this summer. However, when Como came forward after the Cremonese defeat, there had been a change.
No longer were the Rossoneri closed off to the idea; instead, they were ready to discuss the possibility, and this is where Roma also began talks. Though neither of the two Italian clubs will get the Spaniard. Instead, he is destined for the Premier League.
Jimenez: Destined for England
The game against Lecce was a clear signal: Jimenez is not a part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans, despite the coach stating there were no problems. Perhaps this is due to the advancement of talks. However, Santiago Gimenez still started despite rumours of his future.
A deal with Jimenez, in fairness, is much further ahead, though. Nevertheless, there remains an issue to solve.

Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, via MilanNews, report that new talks are set to start tonight to resolve the problems.
“There will be new contacts between the two clubs this evening to reach a conclusion on the deal. Bournemouth are playing their home game against Tottenham and will resume talks with the Rossoneri management after that match.
“The deal is expected to be between €2 and €3 million. The deal is expected to be a loan with an option to buy the player, which becomes an obligation under certain conditions.”
