For the third time in the past seven days, AC Milan are reportedly in an advanced situation with a striker; this time with Chelsea.
There is something about the Milan mercato that is baffling some; there is little similarity between targets, and the consistency of this is certainly confusing. Then, there is the lack of finishing, ironic considering it is regarding a striker.
Victor Boniface and Conrad Harder have both come close to wearing the famous Rossoneri colours. Yet, neither time has it got it over the line, so again, the club are back to square one, and will look at another idea in the mercato.
Nkunku ‘advanced’
This morning, it seems the idea is Christopher Nkunku, with a potential loan deal for Artem Dovbyk also in the works, and Fabrizio Romano has reported the situation with Chelsea over a deal for the Frenchman.
“Christopher Nkunku and AC Milan, deal progressing as personal terms are not an issue. Nkunku wants AC Milan, and talks over contract are well advanced.
“Chelsea and AC Milan are discussing about transfer fee surely in excess of the reported €30m.”
Time is running out, and the Diavolo need to get things done quickly.
