Despite his move to PSV seemingly being done, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that AC Milan are in talks for Alphadjo Cissè.
There has been a lot said about Cissè in the past few days, and a lot of it has not concerned Milan. Ultimately, it seemed that the youngster would return to Hellas Verona temporarily before departing to PSV.
Everything was done and dusted, with the transfer effectively concluded. However, the Rossoneri stepped in and things were placed on hold as Matteo Moretto stated earlier today.
Romano’s update on Cissè
The youngster has been on the Diavolo’s radar since 2024, and he is currently blossoming in Serie B, where he has scored six goals in 24 games. Of course, it is worth remembering how many players from Milan Futuro struggled in the second division, so his successes so far are certainly not something to overlook.
Now, there is a chance that Milan could add him to the roster, and Fabrizio Romano provided the latest update on his YouTube channel, via MilanNews.
“Milan contacted Alphadjo Cissé to buy him, after his transfer from Hellas Verona to PSV Eindhoven had been announced for days. Negotiations are underway to decide his future.”
