Romano: “We’ll see” – Vlahovic could still move to Milan despite European interest

AC Milan are not yet out of the race for Dusan Vlahovic, even though it may have seemed like they were at one point.

There has been a lot said about the striker situation at Milan in the past few months. Even now, whilst the Rossoneri sit at the top of the Serie A table, the issue has not been put to bed. In fairness, though, there are a few reasons why this is the case.

Ultimately, it boils down to Santiago Gimenez’s situation in Rossoneri colours. The Mexican has one goal this season, against Lecce in the Coppa Italia last week. Even though it has not been a case of not trying, he has just struggled to hit the back of the net.

Then, Vlahovic’s situation will be discussed until his future has been resolved. So, the Diavolo will remain an option until they are not.

Vlahovic… maybe?

Today, Fabrizio Romano has discussed the situation on his YouTube channel, as Calciomercato.com relays.

“Several clubs are starting to figure out the potential costs of a Vlahovic deal in 2026, meaning a free transfer in the summer. Clubs are asking themselves various questions: how much would he like to earn? What are the commission fees? What are the signing fees?

“The bottom line is that several teams are starting to explore this issue. Vlahovic will take his time to reflect and figure out his next professional step, but in the meantimeBayern Munich has begun gathering information on Vlahovic.

“No offers, but the Bavarians have made some informative calls to inquire about the situation surrounding the Serbian striker, both contractually and financially. This interest from Bayern must therefore be noted.

“Various teams will be following the German club’s progress, and we’ll see if the Vlahovic issue will reopen with AC Milan or, possibly, Inter.”
