Ryan Gravenberch has shed light on how his midfield partnership with Curtis Jones is fuelling his goalscoring resurgence this season.
Gravenberch netted his fourth Premier League goal of the season, opening the scoring in Liverpool's 2-1 victory over struggling Wolves at Anfield on Saturday. It marks a stark contrast to the last campaign, when the Dutch international didn't manage to score a single goal as the Reds stormed their way to a record-equalling 20th championship.
While Alexis Mac Allister was his main midfield partner during the title-winning campaign, Gravenberch has recently been paired with Jones in the heart of midfield for the past four Premier League matches, a period during which Liverpool have climbed back into the top four.

He's really comfortable and almost never loses the ball.
"It's really nice to play with him. It makes you more comfortable to bring the ball forward.
"Always when you score, you have a really good feeling. It was a really nice assist from Jeremie (Frimpong), and I saw the gap on the right side (of the goalkeeper) and it went nicely."
Liverpool found the second half against Wolves challenging when their two-goal lead was reduced shortly after the break by Santiago Bueno.

Speaking to LFC TV, Gravenberch said: "In the first half we played really good, created good chances and scored two goals and then in the second half we conceded again from a set-piece and they (Wolves) smell they can maybe score the next one. But in the end we fight and showed character.
"As always, we have to stick together and just run, run and try to win your duels. I think we did that, so I'm happy."
Gravenberch added: "We can do a bit better in the second half. Of course we play a lot of games and players get tired, but I think if you get tired you have to keep the ball and not go forward always.
"I think we can do better keeping the ball and just let the other team run and they will get tired from that, and then find the right moment. We didn't do it and we have to keep working on that.
"But hopefully we can get momentum from now on and just keep going."
