Scaroni jokes about Milan’s Scudetto chances: “Certainly heart-stopping” – video

Club president Paolo Scaroni has joked that AC Milan are certainly ‘heart-stopping’ if not Scudetto contenders.

Last night’s win over Roma had everything: a brilliant run from Rafael Leao, Strahinja Pavlovic bombing forward to score on the counter-attack, various clashes between players and a Mike Maignan penalty save to deny Paulo Dybala.

The end result was a 1-0 victory for the Rossoneri, who are joint-second and just one point off the top. Scaroni was smiling as he entered the Lega Calcio Serie A meeting today in Lissone.

When asked how he feels after the victory over Roma, he responded: “Well, well.” As for whether Allegri’s Milan is a team that can win the Scudetto, the president stated: “I don’t know, it’s certainly a heart-stopping Milan.”
