A number of clubs are already circling to try and sign Christian Comotto in view of next season, a journalist has claimed.
Many Milan fans will remember Comotto as the young midfielder with long hair who looked mature beyond his age in preseason, at ease in possession and with an eye for a pass. Knowing they possess a real talent, the Rossoneri management decided to loan him to Spezia in Serie B.
After struggling a bit for game time at first, the arrival of Roberto Donadoni as the new head coach of Spezia in November – a former Milan midfielder himself – seems to have been good news for Comotto, who is now turning heads with his performances.
According to Nicolo Schira of Tuttosport, ‘several clubs’ are interested in signing the teenager on loan for next season, and most are even in Serie A. Genoa, Cagliari, Pisa, Monza, Cremonese and Parma have all expressed interest in welcoming the Italian for 2026-27.
As Daniele Longo outlined on Tuesday, Milan therefore face a decision. They must either send Comotto to a club of higher status where he might not start as consistently, or consider sending him to an environment where wins might be more scarce but minutes could be more abundant.
