There have been several strikers linked to AC Milan recently, and a new name has now emerged in the list, according to a new report.
Finding a striker is a task easier said than done, as Milan have routinely discovered over the past 10 years. A player that can finish chances consistently whilst also aiding the general front line is rare to find.
Then, when you consider the RedBird method of recruitment, that circle becomes very small, if at all visible.
New name from France
To their credit, the summer mercato hinted at a possible shift away from tradition, with Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot (established names) arriving, as opposed to players like them with lesser known names and significantly lower prices.
That same idea could continue into the forward line, where Robert Lewandowski’s name has emerged as a heavy possibility. However, nothing has been decided with the veteran, so the Rossoneri cannot rely on that deal.

So, others have also been considered. Artem Dovbyk, Joaquin Panichelli and Mateo Pellegrino are three options currently, but another has also emerged.
As Nicolo Schira reports, via Spazio Milan, the Diavolo are considering a move for Rennes striker Kader Meite. In fact, scouts have been sent to France to watch his performances lately.
With two goals and as many assists so far this season, he is making a name for himself at just 18-years-old.
