Schira: Tare blitz in England as meetings with Man Utd, Newcastle and Nottingham await

Igli Tare has arrived in England to meet with Manchester United, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest over Rasmus Hojlund, Malick Thiaw and Yunus Musah, according to a report.

The end of the transfer window is fast approaching and in addition to signing a striker, Milan also want to part ways with a few players. Above all, Thiaw and Musah have been identified as potential hefty capital gains, with Newcastle and Nottingham Forest interested.

For the No.9 role, meanwhile, Milan are pushing for the arrival of Hojlund from Manchester United as a loan deal appears possible. In short, sporting director Tare has many things on his plates and the upcoming friendlies have presented an opportunity in that sense.

Tare arrives in England

According to the Italian journalist Nico Schira, Tare has arrived in England to meet with Man Utd, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest to discuss Hojlund, Thiaw and Musah. Of course, he will also be present at Stamford Bridge tomorrow for the friendly against Chelsea.

Today, meanwhile, Milan are taking on Leeds United in Dublin. If the aforementioned report is true, then we might not see Tare in the stands of Aviva Stadium. Clearly, there is some money to be made here as Thiaw and Musah both have reported price tags of €30m+.

Whether any agreements will be reached, however, is a very different story. Milan would need to sign a replacement if Thiaw were to leave, for example, and that in itself would be difficult so late in the transfer window.
