Jonathan Gjoshe received non-life-threatening injuries in the attack

A professional footballer was injured during the stabbing attack on a London-bound train on Saturday evening.

Scunthorpe United player Jonathan Gjoshe "sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the attack", the club said.

He was slashed across the bicep and had an operation in hospital, where he remains, the club told the BBC.

A man has been arrested after 11 people were injured during the attack in Huntingdon.
