After completing the signing of Pervis Estupinan, AC Milan need a player for the opposite flank of the defence, and Luca Serafini believes it could be someone who hasn’t been mentioned yet.
Milan announced Estupinan’s arrival last night and the left-back has already joined the squad in Hong Kong, potentially getting some minutes against Liverpool tomorrow. However, the Rossoneri still need to add a right-back to the team.
Guela Doue has been mentioned as the No.1 priority for Milan, with a new offer supposedly ready to be tabled, but a surprise name cannot be excluded either. Kind of like when Estupinan was first mentioned in the media.
Serafini makes his prediction
In his latest editorial for MilanNews, the pundit Serafini discusses the number of players that have been linked with the club. He stated that the right-back could be someone we haven’t seen much about in the media, if anything.
“Meanwhile, full-backs, midfielders, and centre-forwards continue to be piled up at Milanello like it’s a warehouse: agents, friends and managers are circulating the names of players Milan are interested in, you never know…
“In particular, the full-backs linked to the Rossoneri club are in the hundreds, and yet I understand that after Estupinian, the name for the right flank will be a player who has (almost) never appeared in the media in recent weeks. A bit like Maldini and Massara’s tactic: forward in silence, always and no matter what,” he wrote.
