Serie A is back with Matchday 17 tomorrow: Fixtures of Milan and their rivals

The Christmas break is over, at least for the players, as Serie A will resume tomorrow with Matchday 17. AC Milan will have to wait another day, but one of their rivals will be in action. 

Due to the Supercoppa Italiana tournament, it’s been a while since Milan last played in the league. As such, the disappointing 2-2 draw against Sassuolo nearly two weeks ago is still lingering, with the Rossoneri hoping to get back to winning ways.

On Sunday, they will get the chance as they will face Hellas Verona at home. This fixture has been assigned to the lunchtime slot, i.e. 12.30 CET, which is the same as the Sassuolo clash. In short, the Rossoneri have more than one point to prove.

As for their rivals, almost all of them will play on Sunday too except for Juventus, who will face Pisa away from home in the late game tomorrow. We have put together the fixtures of the main rivals below…

• Pisa vs. Juventus (Saturday, 20:45)
• AC Milan vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 12:30)
• Cremonese vs. Napoli (Sunday, 15:00)
• Atalanta vs. Inter (Sunday, 20:45)
• Roma vs. Genoa (Monday, 20:45)

It should be noted that due to the Supercoppa Italiana, the likes of Roma and Juventus have played one more game, so the top three teams currently have a game in hand. These will be played in mid-January, with Milan facing Como away from home.
