Sia explains leaving Milan is not easy but excited for the future: “A player who adapts”

Diego Sia left AC Milan last month to join CD Mirandes in the Spanish second division, and it will be hoped that he can go to the next level.

The Milan Futuro is good until players reach a certain level. At that point, it is crucial that they take another step by departing on loan. Kevin Zeroli and Francesco Camarda have both taken that step and Sia is one of the latest to do so.

In the Spanish second division, he should mature further, both as a player and as a man, given he is still so young. At 19, he has only known Milanello and the Rossoneri, so it will be a big chance for him to take the next step.

In six months, who knows what can happen, he may come back with aspirations of higher. However, the focus now is on impressing for his new club, and he spoke to AS about the move, via MilanPress.

“I’ve always been at AC Milan. It won’t be easy at first, but my teammates are helping me integrate. I’m very happy to be in this city and I hope to reciprocate the warm welcome from the fans. The process was complicated, but everything went well, and I’m happy to begin this new adventure.
