Sky: Allegri, Furlani and Tare had a meeting at Milanello today – the reason

Massimiliano Allegri, Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani had lunch together at Milanello today, according to a report, and they took stock of the situation.

As Allegri described it during his press conference ahead of Milan-Bologna, the real season is starting now. Of course, he’s referring to the fact that the transfer market has closed, meaning we now know exactly where all teams stand.

For the Milan head coach, it’s now all about building a team and finding the right tactics, from the formation to the approach. Tomorrow’s game against Bologna will be very important in that sense, as the Rossoneri have to get off on the right foot.

Lunch meeting at Milanello

According to Sky Italia this afternoon, as cited by MilanNews, Allegri had lunch together with sporting director Tare and the CEO Furlani at Milanello today. In addition to the outcome of the transfer window, the trio took stock of the current situation to see if anything can be improved.

Of course, there are many things that Milan can do beyond signings, so it definitely makes sense to have these sit-downs every now and then. Having said that, Allegri seems very pleased with the squad and the training facilities, so the meeting was likely a calm one.

Tomorow’s game is scheduled for 20:45 CEST and it will be played at San Siro. The Curva Sud will still be silent, sadly, but at least Milan are pushing hard for a solution.
