Sky: Allegri reshuffles team to face Torino after Pulisic news – the latest from Milanello

Massimiliano Allegri has once again had to adapt his plans on the eve of a game, this time because of Christian Pulisic’s condition.

In his pre-match press conference the day prior to the trip to face Torino, Allegri stated that Pulisic has been battling a fever and thus is in doubt for the game. Sky revealed that the American has not travelled with the rest of the team, but will do on the day of the game if he recovers overnight.

The same source (via MilanNews) report that there has been a reshuffling in Allegri’s plans. Contrary to what was thought in the last few hours, the latest coming from Milanello suggests that Youssouf Fofana’s place in midfield should be taken by Ruben Loftus-Cheek and not by the Samuele Ricci.

Christopher Nkunku meanwhile is expected to lead the line with Rafael Leao, meaning that we will have to wait a bit longer for the Leao-Pulisic pairing to get a second league start together.

It also means that Samuele Ricci will not get a start against his former side Torino and instead will have to try and make an impact off the bench, something he has become accustomed to this season.
