Sky: ‘Finalise other reinforcements’ – Tare and Allegri meet for Milan planning meal

The mercato is in full swing and AC Milan need to finalise a few deals quickly. So, the head coach and sporting director had a meeting last night.

In a few days, Milan will set off for their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia, and before that, a few additions are hoped for. Reports previously have stated that the Rossoneri could seal a deal for Marc Pubill this week, whilst Matteo Moretto reports that a deal for Pervis Estupinan is in the works.

It seems like the Diavolo are finally getting into gear, with many frustrated by the lack of movement. However, all parties are seemingly heading in the right direction after this latest news.

A ‘mercato’ meal

As Sky reports, Massimiliano Allegri and Igli Tare met last night for a ‘mercato dinner’ to discuss the situation with different targets and clarify the positions needed, as MilanNews relayed this afternoon.

A new set of full-backs, another midfielder and a striker are sought, with the goal of bringing them in before the start of the pre-season tour. Of course, this is not the deadline, and deals will not be done for the sake of it.

However, if the squad can be as close to done as possible, it will be better for everyone.
