It seems that one Frenchman could leave AC Milan this month, with Youssouf Fofana in the sights for Turkish giants, Galatasaray.
There have been several suggestions that a Frenchman could leave Milan shortly. Of course, Mike Maignan’s situation would allow him to leave at the start of next month, and then there is the discussions regarding Christopher Nkunku.
It seems he will now remain at the club, after scoring his latest goal this weekend, and with Fenerbahce seemingly toning down their interest. Initially, Gala had joined them in the race for the striker, but they did not progress.
They did not stop looking at the Rossoneri, though, and a new target has been found.
Fofana on the move?
As Sky report, via MilanNews, executives for the Turkish giants are expected in Italy within the next few days and they could meet representatives of the Rossoneri to discuss the future of Fofana, who has been hit and miss this season.
Whilst Massimiliano Allegri has recently praised the Frenchman, this has not been his best season. So, if a generous offer were to arrive, it may have to be considered if it helped bolster other areas of the squad.
He is certainly not ‘for sale’, but like many members of the squad, he could be bought for the right price.
