Sky: More alarm for Milan as Nkunku battles foot injury – the latest

There is yet more alarm regarding injuries at AC Milan, with Christopher Nkunku battling a foot issue in the build-up to the Fiorentina game.

On Friday, the penultimate training session will take place at Milanello before the match against Fiorentina. Peppe Di Stefano reports gave an update on how various players are getting on during a live segment for Sky (via MilanNews).

Nkunku is one to watch as the Frenchman missed training yesterday and the day before due to a foot injury. He will be evaluated today but should be back with the group for the full session, which would mean he is available. It comes after he scored for France over the break, in a draw with Iceland.

Pervis Estupinan’s condition remains to be seen after the ankle injury he sustained while playing for the national team. Alexis Saelemaekers appears to be on the road to recovery, which is good news for Massimiliano Allegri.

Christian Pulisic – who has a problem with his right thigh flexor – will undergo routine tests to determine the extent of the problem before 13:00 CEST. It is expected that he is looking at a rather lengthy period of absence as per the initial reports and feelings.
