Massimiliano Allegri is expected to make four changes to the starting XI for the Derby della Madonnina between AC Milan and Inter, according to a report.

Due to the international break, it’s been a while since Milan last played a game. On the plus side, this has allowed them to recover some of their stars, with Adrien Rabiot and Christian Pulisic now ready to play from the first minute.

It was almost a timely break, in other words, and it means Milan will enter tomorrow’s derby against Inter with a strong squad. Zachary Athekame and Santiago Gimenez are on the injury list, but they most likely wouldn’t have started either way.

According to Sky Italia, Allegri is preparing to make four changes to the starting eleven against Inter: Fikayo Tomori on for Koni De Winter, Davide Bartesaghi on for Pervis Estupinan, Adrien Rabiot on for Samuele Ricci, and Christian Pulisic on for Christopher Nkunku.

Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Pulisic, Leao.

Bench: Terracciano, Pittarella, De Winter, Odogu, Estupinan, Jashari, Loftus-Cheek, Ricci, Nkunku.

Injuries & suspensions: Athekame and Gimenez.

Bartesaghi seems to be getting the nod, in other words, and it’s not that surprising given he has done well in recent weeks. Estupinan didn’t ecxactly take the chance against Parma either, making quite a few mistakes.
