Massimiliano Allegri could send Adrien Rabiot to the bench for the game against Udinese on Saturday, according to Sky.
Milan head to Udinese seeking their third consecutive league win. After victories against Lecce and Bologna the response has been positive following the shock loss to Cremonese, and the back-to-back clean sheets has provided a stable base to build from.
Predicted Milan XI vs. Udinese
According to Sky, Allegri will make a forced change in goal with Pietro Terracciano coming in for Mike Maignan. The coach did confirm in his pre-match press conference that the Frenchman is doing better and will be back between the posts against Lecce in the midweek cup game.
Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic are expected to be the three-man defence again. The latter has shaken off a flexor problem that forced him off in the Bologna game, while Gabbia will be the captain.
Youssouf Fofana, Luka Modric and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are down as the midfield trio, flanked by Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupinan as the wing-backs. It would mean that – rather surprisingly – Rabiot would lose his starting spot after an excellent debut.
A front two of Christian Pulisic and Santiago Gimenez is anticipated, with Rafael Leao still not back yet and Christopher Nkunku trying to get back towards full fitness.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Terracciano; Tomori, Gabbia, De Winter; Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Modric, Rabiot, Estupinan; Gimenez, Pulisic.
