Sky: Pulisic and Rabiot at Milanello despite team day off with Parma in sight – the latest

Massimiliano Allegri granted the AC Milan squad a day off on Monday, but two players showed up regardless.

Milan will no doubt be feeling drained of energy after a dramatic win against Roma on Sunday night. Strahinja Pavlovic got the only goal after sprinting 80 metres in 13 seconds to fire in Rafael Leao’s feed, while Mike Maignan saved a late Paulo Dybala penalty to preserve the three points.

Pulisic and Rabiot at Milanello

Peppe Di Stefano spoke live on Sky (via MilanNews) from Milanello this lunchtime. He stated that – despite the day off granted by Allegri to the team after yesterday’s win – Adrien Rabiot and Christian Pulisic are present at the training complex to continue their recovery work.

The two players were sidelined since the last international break with calf and flexor injuries respectively. However, they are feeling much better and are working to speed up their recovery and be available for the away match in Parma on Saturday.

The situation will become clearer in the coming days and of course no risks will be taken given the nature of their issues. As a reminder, Milan are believed to be in negotiations with the USA and the France football federations over having the duo remain at Milanello over the break.
