AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri might have to make a further change to his team for the game against Fiorentina, with Adrien Rabiot not at his best.
Milan head into tonight’s game at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in need of a win for various reasons, above all because Inter – who moved three points clear at the top after the results in midweek – host Napoli at San Siro later.
Rabiot in doubt
According to a report from Sky’s Peppe Di Stefano (via MilanNews), Rabiot isn’t fully fit and is at risk of missing out against Fiorentina. The French midfielder’s condition will be reassessed by the Rossoneri medical staff this morning following a minor knock.
In his place during today’s training session, Allegri tried out Samuele Ricci on the left of the midfield three. However, it will be up to Rabiot to decide whether or not he is well enough to play against Fiorentina, along with the staff of course.
If he does recover in time, he’ll play alongside Ardon Jashari and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The other news on the line-up concerns the left wing-back role, where Davide Bartesaghi will be rested, and the summer signing Pervis Estupinan will take his place.
