Massimiliano Allegri will be unveiled to the media today at a press conference, but in the background work on the squad of the future continues.

As Sky reports, Tijjani Reijnders left for Manchester City to prompt a midfield rebuild. Samuele Ricci was made official, Ardon Jashari is pushing for Club Brugge to let him leave, and Luka Modric should come too.

Theo Hernandez is one step away from Al-Hilal, and two midfielders should leave: Ismael Bennacer who returns from Marseille, and Yacine Adli, back from his loan at Fiorentina. Clear signs of a mercato in flux – incoming, as well as outgoing.

Then, a striker will be needed to pair with Santiago Gimenez with profiles from abroad being evaluated. For the right-back position, the 23-year-old duo of Guela Doue (Strasbourg) or Marc Pubill (Almeria) are liked.

The outgoing market doesn’t stop there. Alvaro Morata has promised himself to Como who are also tempting Malick Thiaw. Noah Okafor could return to the Bundesliga (RB Leipzig and Werder Bremen keen) or go to Besiktas, while Yunus Musah is in negotiations with Nottingham Forest.

Emerson Royal is waiting for the right offer. The intention is to cash in on the aforementioned names, to continue to finance the incoming market, which after Ricci and perhaps Jashari can get into full swing.
