AC Milan could be able to rely on Fikayo Tomori this weekend, despite it seeming unlikely after an injury last weekend.
There were several positives to take from the Napoli game. However, there was one noticeable issue; Tomori could be forced to miss the game against Juventus in seven days’ time, thanks to a muscle injury.
Through the week, updates have been frequent, with the Englishman partaking in individual work. Though it has seemed like he would not be able to play in this weekend’s game for the most part, per reports.
Possible change?
It seems that things may change, though. Peppe Di Stefano, an expert on the ongoings at Milanello, spoke to Sky Sport about the latest on Tomori’s situation, and MilanNews have relayed the good news.
“Tomori trained today after receiving the green light from the medical staff, who deemed the right thigh adductor strain he suffered during the match against Napoli to be resolved.

“The Englishman is now medically recovered and will be available to the Livorno coach for Sunday evening’s crucial match away to Juventus. What made the difference, in addition to the good work he’s done in recent days to recover, is the player’s iron will to be there for such a crucial match.”
Koni De Winter has been the name reported to step in for the former Chelsea man, and whether this will be the case will be seen in the next few days.
