A woman has been jailed for four years after blackmailing Spurs hero Son Heung-min.
The woman, only identified as Yang, was charged with extorting £153,000 after claiming to be pregnant with Son's child. Yang sent the now Los Angeles FC forward an ultrasound photo of a baby that she claimed was his in 2024, demanding the large sum of cash to stay quiet.
She later conspired with a man, identified as Yong, to try and get more money from the former Tottenham captain.
On Monday, the central district court in Seoul, South Korea heard that Yang had 'lied' to Son - although she never confirmed whose child she was carrying.
She denied the charges of extortion and attempted extortion but will now spend time behind bars. Yong however confessed to the charge and was sentenced to two years in prison.

"It was not limited to simple threats or demands for money - she went further by taking action, such as informing the media and advertising agencies, exploiting Son's status as a public figure," Im explained.
It was added that Son 'suffered considerable psychological distress as a result of the case becoming public'.
Son, 33, was playing for Spurs at the time of the ordeal, before moving to LA in a £20million transfer in August, after entering the final year of his contract in north London, having spent a decade in the Premier League.
With LA's season having finished last week in the MLS play-offs, Son is returning to his former stomping ground on Tuesday night to say farewell to supporters ahead of the Champions League match with Slavia Prague.
"When I announced my difficult decision to leave Spurs in the summer, it was in Korea and I never got a proper chance to say goodbye to fans at the stadium," Son explained.
"Now I am so happy because I am going to come back to London on 9th December, for the Champions League match, and be able to tell the Spurs fans in person just how much their support and love over 10 years has meant to me and my family. It will be emotional, but it’s important for me and the club that this happens."
