Pisa are battling an ’emergency’ ahead of tonight’s game against AC Milan, regarding who will be between the posts.
Calciomercato.com speak of ‘red alert’ for Pisa in view of the match against Milan at the Arena Garibaldi at 20:45 CET today. The Tuscan side are six points away from safety and cannot afford for their winless run to keep going, and now they have another issues.
The deputy goalkeeper Simone Scuffet has in fact not been called up due to injury and his absence is added to that of the starter, Adrian Semper. The former Udinese player will be out of the match due to a muscle injury currently being evaluated.
Semper, who hasn’t recovered from a knee injury, is also absent. Youngster Tommaso Guizzo, born in 2009, has been called up, but third-choice goalkeeper Nicolas is expected to start in goal. Long-term absentees Vural, Denoon and Albiol are also out.
Nícolas David Andrade – known as Nícolas – has been with Pisa since 2021 and has largely been the back-up or third choice. At 37 years of age, he could be set for his first Serie A start with the Nerazzurri.
