Steven Gerrard lambasted Chelsea's first-team and owners ahead of their FA Cup semi-final clash with Leeds United on Sunday afternoon in the aftermath of Liam Rosenior's sacking
Steven Gerrard has claimed that Chelsea players could "never trust" their owners again after sacking Liam Rosenior earlier this week.
The Blues are set to face Leeds United at Wembley at 3pm in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. However, they head into the fold with Calum McFarlane at the helm on an interim basis after Rosenior was handed his walking papers on Wednesday.
A statement from the club announcing the Englishman's exit read: "This has not been a decision the Club has taken lightly, however recent results and performances have fallen below the necessary standards with still so much more to play for this season. Everyone at Chelsea FC wishes Liam every success in the future."
