Ardon Jashari to AC Milan is a done deal and he will finally arrive from Club Brugge, at least according to one reliable journalist.

The Jashari saga has dragged on for weeks and weeks now, with Milan finding Brugge a very tough nut to crack yet again. Despite multiple bids and improved offers financially, the Belgian club stood firm and even – as per some sources – moved the goalposts regarding their asking price.

In recent days there has also been talk of the Rossoneri actually turning away from the Swiss international and focusing on an alternative name, like Valencia’s Javi Guerra. Now, however, the decisive breakthrough may have come.

Jashari to Milan: Agreement reached

Now, Sacha Tavolieri of Sky Switzerland has given the following update: “EXCLUSIVE: Ardon Jashari set to become AC Milan player! Agreement REACHED with Club Brugge. Now it’s only about fixing the payment terms. Five-year contract.”

While waiting for other sources to verify, it must be noted that one journalist did state today that Milan are trying to propose to Brugge to pay for Jashari over fewer years in terms of instalments (four instead of five). If the deal quickly goes through, that might have been what did it.
