Tavolieri: Boniface will not arrive at Milan after further medical tests – the reason

This morning, a journalist has stated that AC Milan will not sign Victor Boniface, despite the deal being all but done. 

A striker has been needed all summer, and when Milan began to make a charge for Boniface, it seemed like the issue was coming to an end. However, this seems not to be the case. Instead, the saga will continue.

Given the need for numbers, the Rossoneri opted for a more extensive medical examination to ensure that the striker was going to be able to feature heavily, and a decision was expected today. Though with his return to Germany, it seemed likely what the answer would be.

Now, Sacha Tavolieri reports that the deal is off, due to opinions from the doctors of the medical. For him to have an extended medical anyway suggests that something was not right, and for the deal to be off, it only really confirms this.

To play Devil’s Advocate, there is no point in signing a striker who cannot offer you the minutes that are needed in the Diavolo’s position. Though it now returns the club to the start, and there is a very quick chance that the mercato drops in rating.
