Tavolieri: Milan ‘pushing’ to sign rising Angers star – talks underway with club and player

AC Milan have a striker through the door already in the winter window in Niclas Füllkrug, but they might not be finished there.

Milan continue to keep an eye on emerging talents in European football. Their focus remains on young players for the present and future, and in recent hours a new name has emerged, one that Rossoneri scouts are following with great interest.

The strategy remains unchanged: to try to stay ahead of the curve and ahead of the competition, even if in this specific case we’re talking about a player already on the radar of many clubs.

Chérif negotiations underway

The 2006-born striker is considered one of the most exciting talents on the French scene. At just 19, he has attracted attention with his performances for Angers in Ligue 1, with four goals already to his name in 16 league appearances, and not all of them starts.

His profile would fit Milan’s plan to invest in young players, ready to mature over time through a gradual process. With Füllkrug set to arrive as an initial six-month option, it could be that Cherif is seen more as a long-term option for the position, even if Francesco Camarda is also on the scene.
