Lazio are beginning to worry about the future of full-back Adam Marusic, and his agents have apparently offered him to AC Milan.
According to TMW, Maurizio Sarri is calling for Marusic’s renewal, but the two sides are still far apart. This is because the Lazio defender has requested a long-term contract from the Biancoceleste, but Claudio Lotito has no intention of going beyond a one-year contract with an option for another.
In recent days, the full-back has also been offered to Juventus and Milan, both seeking a potential squad option who has experience. Being able to play on both the right and left, the Montenegrin would represent a good option at a relatively low fee, especially since he’d be a free transfer in June.
The chess game continues, with Lazio remaining confident of reaching an agreement soon, but a relaunch will be needed to reach at least two years without an option.

What Lazio’s director said
Angelo Fabiani – Lazio’s sporting director – recently spoke about the January transfer window, and suggested a willingness to satisfy what Sarri wants.
“I’ve always been confident. There are still a few weeks to go, and we’ll address the issue when the transfer window opens. We know what we have to do; we’ve had a meeting with the president and coach, and we’re working behind the scenes,” he said.
“There’s a great relationship, based on affection and mutual respect. It’s important for us to have Sarri on the bench; he gives us peace of mind. We’re seeing results and improvements. We’ve started a three-year program with him, and we want to grow alongside him. He’s our guide.”
