AC Milan are not just thinking about renewals for their first team players, with Emanuele Sala’s contract being negotiated.
There is a lot of talk about extensions for players that Massimiliano Allegri has got the best out of with the first team, such as Fikayo Tomori and Alexis Saelemaekers. However, it is worth keeping an eye on some talents for the future too that the management might want to lock down.
Sala renewal close
According to TMW, an agreement has practically been reached for the renewal of Emanuele Sala, an 18-year-old midfielder who has been a star of Milan Futuro since its inception last year, having graduated from the Primavera.
After discussions in recent weeks, the handshakes are close to coming and the signatures should soon arrive on a deal that will tie the teenager to the Rossoneri until 2029, plus an option to extend for another year.

Sala was called up to the first team for the match against Fiorentina on Sunday, given the numerous midfield absences. Last year, he was a key figure with the Primavera, where he scored five goals and two assists in 32 appearances across the league, cups and play-offs.
This year, he was promoted to Milan Futuro, where he made two appearances. One came against league leaders Chievo, a match the Rossoneri won 3-2. He also impressed in preseason, especially against Leeds United in Dublin.
