Borussia Dortmund’s asking price for Serhou Guirassy is expected to drop, and AC Milan could reignite their interest in him.
Over the weekend, Guirassy netted two goals in Dortmund’s most recent Bundesliga match against Mainz to keep their league hopes alive. Now they are six points behind league leaders Bayern Munich, while the striker moved onto 11 goals for the season.
A rekindled flame?
As TMW recall, the Guinean forward is the great driving force of Dortmund, and also the man Milan once preferred Alvaro Morata to. It was a sliding doors moment, and now Morata is at the Rossoneri’s next opponents Como (though he is suspended and won’t play).
In the most recent summer window, the Rossoneri tried again, but Dortmund demanded the €70m release clause to sell which was deemed too much. Guirassy remained in the Bundesliga, but the feeling is that Guirassy – faces Atalanta in the Champions League today – will move on before 2026-27.

The club’s entourage has spoken repeatedly with Saudi Arabia’s top clubs, seeking a huge salary. There’s been no shortage of offers, but none have met the German club’s demands. The asking price will drop to around €40-50m, the report claims.
One thing is certain: Milan’s management are looking for a top-tier centre-forward to give to Massimiliano Allegri this summer. Given that Guirassy has been on the radar for years now, could things finally align?
